Boos, Brews and Brats

Manistee's annual Boos, Brews and Brats had traditionally been organized by the Manistee Downtown Development Authority but in 2018, the DDA decided the festival would be too difficult to plan along with the other events and tasks that they've yet to complete.

The Manistee Elks decided to take over the event and held it in conjunction with the clubs annual community Halloween Party. All events are held at the Manistee Elks Lodge- 432 River St., unless otherwise noted.

The schedule for the 2019 event was as follows:

10am - Special showing of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween at the Vogue Theatre- 383 River St.

12-2pm - Pet Parade

2pm - Registration ends for Children's Costume Contest Costumes. Costumes will be judged in three age groups and registration forms can be obtained at the Vogue Theatre or the Manistee Elks Lodge.

2:30pm - Children's Costume Contest

3-5pm - Trick or treating in downtown Manistee

7pm-12am - Music by Sunset Groove, brews, and brats (must be 21 to enter). Adult costume contest at 10:30-11pm.
