On beautiful Upper Hamlin Lake ten miles north of Ludington. 110 large sites with tables, firepits, bathhouses, electric and water hook-ups, dump station, swimming pool, convenience store, group camping area, walking paths, three playgrounds, rowboat, canoe, and kayak rental plus boat docking, excellent fishing and plenty of wildlife. April 15-October 15.

If you seek solitude and a primitive experience, you'll love dispersed camping in the Manistee National Forest. Dispersed camping (camping outside of a designated campground, with no services or facilities) is allowed almost anywhere within the Manistee National Forest, unless otherwise posted. Permit not required for dispersed camping. Call for info.
